What is  Forward in the Field

Forward in the Field  is an ongoing Learning Network email series that highlights active community-based and academic research projects, including initiatives such as accessible virtual trainings, workshops, and campaigns, all aimed at addressing GBV across Canada.

The series is designed to support broader community efforts by offering a platform to share research project information and expand outreach and recruitment. In doing so, we aim to foster a more dynamic, interconnected network of organizations and individuals united in addressing and responding to GBV.

Submit to Forward in the Field!

We invite you to submit your community-based or academic projects and initiatives for consideration in future editions.

We are looking for currently active projects, including trainings, workshops, and campaigns. During our selection process, we prioritize workshops and trainings that offer online or virtual access, especially those that are provided free of charge. This approach helps ensure broader access and encourages participation from diverse audiences within the GBV sector.

While we strive to include as many submissions as possible, please note that the number of projects featured will depend on our capacity and the order in which submissions are received.
